Getting started and matched with a coach is quick and easy. In just a few steps, you can get the support of a skilled and compassionate coach.

NextStep Navigators student teams are made up of a Coach and a Guide.

If you need more specific information about how our individualized coaching can help you or your student, complete the Contact form, and our Program Coordinator will contact you as soon as possible.

Step by Step:

one

Connect and enroll :

Choose your program and enroll to start the onboarding process. After you enroll, the parent and the student will receive an onboarding form. This form will gather basic information to inform us of how to proceed with the student assessment process.

two

Meet your Guide:

Your guide will make a quick phone call, Zoom, or text (based on student preference) to get the student started on the assessment process. During the assessment process, your guide will check in frequently.

three

Meet your Coach and start the semester:

After your assessment process, you will meet with your coach, and together, you will plan your goals for the rest of the semester. Your Coach will help strategize and plan, and your guide will also be a part of your team that will check in on you, follow up with you, and be available if, for some reason, your coach is not available.

Coaches are chosen by matching their strengths with the student's needs. After the initial coaching session, the student will be given the opportunity to change coaches if they are not a good match. Our onboarding and assessment process asks many questions that inform our coaching match.

Students grow when they can self-reflect on what is working and what is not serving them. Accountability in this process helps to keep systems in place and growth happening.

The student will also receive a snapshot of growth each month. This will record the goals reached and establish plans for future planning and assessment.
